12th october 08

Church in the morning, bro nat shared about the latest in chiangmai. Not very good news but also not that bad. i think...anyway, yup..had senior class taken by uncle daniel. Belief and set the goal...trust God and do it. A key to get you(God willing) to where you hope to be. For most of senior class, its getting into uni. After senior class, joseph, joel and i left church. Disappeared...haa no la. Went IMM for lunch at burger king. Saw esther and family there too. and i think i saw my sec classmate, i think...then took 52 to bukit timah plaza to walk around and realising we were at the place. So walked to beauty world and met bro matthew and girlfriend. Sent us to elder soo's place and his girlfriend drove the car elsewhere. That isn't really the point. Elder soo lives in a very nice estate. And nice view...haha Elder soo and auntie jenny were very good hosts, and even with his condition, he could still make us feel so welcome to his home. And yes, elder soo has become much more skinny that the last time i met him. Lose alot of weight, but that isn't the right way to lose weight. Thank God for preserving him and for treating us so warmly. Chatted for an hour plus and he kept joking. I mean it's really an encouragement to me. Even down with this sickness, he wasn't using it as an excuse to not talk. In fact, he made lots of conversations with us regarding school, work, property, cf/jf and his house and even congratulating us for being the youngest group to visit him.haa... Just an update, he has 3 months of chemo to do. There's 2 more to go and will continue to go through more pain. As most of you will know, elder soo cannot go for surgery cause the tumor is near the windpipe. So his only treatment now is chemo and radiotherapy. Please pray for him and family that God will preserve them and kept all of them safe. And Rev ong told the yf yesterday that auntie elsie has 3rd stage colon cancer. It was really a shock to me, esp when i last heard that she was discharged from hospital after a successful operation. So this is the latest news so pray for auntie elsie family as they trust God to lead and guide them through. God knows what He is doing and He might have a greater plan ahead. Pray for the sick and weak and i encourage you to come for prayer meeting to pray for people, esp the sick ones. Anyway, back to my story. Tong pang cab with bro matthew. Dropped us at beauty world...went to look at some computer games. I was really tempted to buy but school started already so haiz.. Took 66 back to jurong interchange and walked back with joel. I just came back home to enjoy my last few hours of holiday...played my rubik's cube, super fun and i hope i can get faster. haha...its 12am now...which means, SCHOOL STARTS. hyper sian ah....tomorrow, wait its today start at 10am so gotta wake up at 8 so i have to sleep now to get 8 hours of sleep. ya like real...haizzzzz really don't feel like going back to school but pray that i'll enjoy it...soon. ok shaun, stop talking and go sleep!
Jaime and Yvonne(A'lvl), Justin(A'lvl), Rachel(Alvl) [less than 1 month to A'levels], Jolynn, Mag and Nat(Olvl) [O'levels this coming week]. Pray for the Sunday School Camp committee, there's been many changes and it's stressing everybody out. Pray for God's strength and time management even as they plan. Pray for Elder soo; lung cancer. He is having chemo now. Pray for him that God's will be done and that He'll lay His healing hands upon Elder soo. Pray for Auntie Elsie too. Pray for Youren and his dad that God will sustain them. Pray for Auntie Christine and Mrs Judy Chan. Pray for me that as school is starting now, pray that i'll continue to draw closer to Him and also spend enough time studying.
