Faith

Today's prayer meeting was very good...God spoke to me through the devotions led by Elder Philip. He spoke about faith and that Christians build a stronger faith is when God tests us. NOT tempt us. God never tempts, its the devil who does. The problem gets larger and larger as God tests us in different ways. And this helps us to grow in faith and we can trust God no matter what. God honors those who honor Him; likewise if we put Him first, He'll also put us first. Romans 5:1-3 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;" I guess i have been pretty impatient for the past few days. I'll be going overseas from sat to mon. Although i don't have to go school on monday, i have e-learning; which will require me to go online to mel to submit whatever i need to. Unfortunately, the window for submission is only from 1-3pm and i'll only be back home by 7-8pm. I will miss the window but i don't want to lose my attendence and marks for it. Have been really worried lately and today's devotions was a really appropiate one. I guess i haven't been patient and most importantly, haven't been trusting and keeping my faith in God. Thank God for this timely reminder that i should trust Him for He has a greater plan ahead for me. While listening to the devotions, a song just came into my mind. A song called, 'He's still working on me'...God's still working on me even though i may waver and go astray. But thank God for bringing me back on the right track.
I thank God for shelia and gwyneth who have been making conversations with me; be it face to face or on msn. I'm still a little introvert and i don't usually open up alot to people older than me(other than josiah). Thank God for this 2 sisters-in-Christ for striking talks with me, at least now i'm slowly opening up to them and hopefully i can open up more to others. They've also been a great help to my Christian walk and fellowship. Praise God for that! Well, school work is slowly piling up and i have to spend more time finishing and revising them.
