Close Shave

this incident is something i must thank God for. Erm..service in the morning by Rev Peter Chua..he spoke about being a faithful servant for God. Yup...After service, Uncle Daniel taught the senior class about the Fruits of the Spirit. Joseph, joel, irvin and i gave a get-well card to Elder soo... Elder John treated the senior class lunch and ate at KFC. Elder John even booked seats for us..haa All of us were present except rachel. But we had alot of fun..so much laughter...and that entertainer, justin, never got tired la...This was the first time the senior class had lunch together and it was a very good way for us to bond with each other. Thank God for this time where we could bond as a class and i really pray that there'll be more of this...yup..After lunch, we walked to the bus-stop which was quite a distance..jasmine led the way with Elder John and samuel at the front. OH OH OH...this is the part. We were all kinda seperated..those 3 in front then some distance then joel, joseph and irvin then another some distance then me and another short distance then the rest of the class. I was almost, ALMOST!!, knocked down by a car...it was this close..phew! While crossing the road, somehow i just turned my head and justin shouted, " CAR!!" I looked back and immediately stepped my emergency leg brakes to stop in time. And the car just drove past me la..the driver didn't even step on his brakes. Just drove past as if i was invisible...As usual, the girls behind me began, "AAHH!!!"...uh But really thank God for sparing my life. Otherwise, i'll be 'sleeping' on the ground...it was a really close shave..Super stunned as the car drove past...my body totally frozen on the spot. Erm...went back to church..Joseph, joel, samuel and i helped josiah move some heavy cupboards. When everything was done, i went back to the choir room/empty room to air-condition-ed myself. Josiah was in the room too. Its been some time where both of us spent time together and thank God for it..had a long chat with him. OH OH, kor kor jonathan is back from perth..only for 2 weeks though. It's been a few months since i saw him. stayed in church and played guitar...play until i'm super tired and felt like sleeping. Its like playing a lullaby for myself..Took a bus back with esther and grace. Again, i played badminton with my family, with jeans and long-sleeve shirt. New sports dressing...mmm i think thats it
Jaime and yvonne(A'lvl), Justin(A'lvl prelims), rachel(Alvl prelims soon), jolynn, mag and nat(Olvl prelims). Pray for me as I'll be next year's CF camp master. I really don't know what to do and also pray that, God willing, i can get a committee that is willing to serve God joyfully. Pray for elder soo, doctors have said that he has lung cancer, 2nd or 3rd stage..and needs to remove the whole right lung. Pray for him that God's will be done and that He'll lay His healing hands upon elder soo.
