First, i'll start by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, GRACE! haha...its been great knowing you even for just 2 years. yes, our friendship is still very young. You've been a great friend and sister-in-Christ to me. Thank you for your honesty with me and for your help when i needed one. I remember getting to know you in SS camp 06. From that time when God placed us to be friends, i've gotten to see you grow spiritually and physically. Continue to grow in the Lord and may you shine for Jesus! also that our friendship will continue to mature. OH NO! i just realised i didn't tear off the price tag for grace's gift...'slaps forehead' many times.....haha
Alright, today's events. Shopped with josiah at queensway for his soccer shoes in the morning, took awhile to choose..thank God for helping him choose the right one. Then we went imm for lunch and got grace's gift and card. Back to church and didn't have discipleship in the end cause it was 3.20 already. YF was good today! I really liked today's program. Comparision between an evangelical protestant(us) and a roman catholic. I really like the comparisions and boy it was really detailed. Totally understood it...many topics were covered such as, Word of God, conversion, the church, the pope, the priest, the mass(Holy Communion), Gospel, penance, purgatory and mary. Went imm again for dinner with the other yfers. Today has been very sinful, macs for lunch and BK for dinner. OH NO! Anyway, God timing was perfect. Why?? Let me explain. In the morning, my dad told me out of the blue that you can invite your school/church friends to our house for projects or whatever; no need to paiseh, just let them know. So for a moment, i was stunned and just answered him, "orh ok". haha Then guess what, the keith, jasmine and lydia were discussing over dinner about cottage meeting and that no one wants to open their house. So i remembered what my dad told me in the morning and randomly suggested that they could use my house. And then of course they were super happy and all...Thank God for showing me His perfect timing, even if something doesn't makes any sense at first, it'll come to make sense when the timing is right. So Praise God! Alright, back to the story. Diaso-ed with them then went home. yup...gotta do pre-worship tmr so i better get my rest and + there's soccer too! haa
Jaime and Yvonne(A'lvl), Justin(A'lvl), Rachel(Alvl) [less than 1 month to A'levels], Jolynn, Mag and Nat(Olvl) [O'levels]. Pray for the Sunday School Camp committee. Pray for Elder soo; lung cancer. He is having chemo now. Pray for him that God's will be done and that He'll lay His healing hands upon Elder soo. Pray for Auntie Elsie too. Pray for Youren and his dad that God will sustain them. Pray for Auntie Christine and Mrs Judy Chan. Pray for me that as school is starting now, pray that i'll continue to draw closer to Him and also spend enough time studying. Pray for gwyneth as she flies to thailand today till 7nov. Pray for safe trip and enjoyment there.
