today, i had church. haa...erm pre-worship was alright i think? I'm really starting to like this 2 hymns, 'Just a closer walk with Thee' and 'Be strong in the Lord'. Its a reminder that i should draw closer to him(James 4:8, which happens to be one of my favourite verses) and to be strong in Him. Trust Him for He will be with you in battle...its really a privilage to have God be at our side when we fight our battles, be it physical battle, mental battle, spiritual battle or any battles you and i are in. What a comfort to know He is always there for us! Thank God for this 2 wonderful hymns and it has became my prayer that i'll walk closer with Him and be strong in Him. Today is reformation sunday, thank God for martin luther and other reformers for doing what they did to get the church into following the Bible and not our own style of worship. Thank God for the video screening on 'Does the Truth matter anymore?' by Dr John MacArthur. It was an awesome video showing how the world is conducting their worship in worldly ways and not from the Bible. I really feel sad for them that those who listen don't know that they are listening to the wrong stuff. Sola Scriptura, means scripture alone. No one should remove or add anything to the Bible. 2 timothy 3:16-17, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." Got to make a new friend today, name's samuel. He's auntie suat ping's friend's son. haha ya...she brought him to church and got me to take care of him. I guess he's just a normal sec2 guy...oh oh, and uncle seet is his principal. haha...how cool is that? Thank God for auntie suat ping for bringing a new person to church. Had lunch and the honor of having grace to sit with the guys while we ate. She had no lunch, so i told her to get lunch but she don't want. -.-''' Choir was not bad, just that it kept dragging...singing one phrase over and over again for about 10mins; and there are many phrases. Soccer was not bad, though i didn't play my best...must have the chocolates. haha...but at least there was exercise. Got back to church to slack and cool down, josiah and joseph went to bathe. Joel was playing TD in his phone la...haa...oh oh, josiah borrowed fifa 09 to play. haha...back to gaming again huh..haha reached my house's void deck about 7pm to see my family still playing badminton. haa Tmr is holiday! NO SCHOOL, NO WORK. haha i love holidays. Chelsea and liverpool playing now...gonna go watch..cya people or whoever that does read my blog. haa
Jaime and Yvonne(A'lvl), Justin(A'lvl), Rachel(Alvl) [less than 1 month to A'levels], Jolynn, Mag and Nat(Olvl) [O'levels]. Pray for the Sunday School Camp committee. Pray for Elder soo; lung cancer. He is having chemo now. Pray for him that God's will be done and that He'll lay His healing hands upon Elder soo. Pray for Auntie Elsie too. Pray for Youren and his dad that God will sustain them. Pray for Auntie Christine and Mrs Judy Chan. Pray for me that as school is starting now, pray that i'll continue to draw closer to Him and also spend enough time studying. Pray for gwyneth as she flies to thailand today till 7nov. Pray for safe trip and enjoyment there.
